Reviewed by Judd Hollander “Extraordinary the tricks that memory plays”, a character exclaims in Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot. One would be hard pressed to find a truer statement. After facing backlash for killing a bill that would have added domestic violence to the list of legal reasons a person can get a divorce in Mississippi, state Rep. Andy Gipson (R-Braxton) has backtracked. The Mississippi lawmaker introduced an amendment on Monday that would allow physical, emotional, verbal, sexual and financial abuse as grounds for divorce.   Gipson had earlier argued that victims of domestic violence were already covered under the existing grounds. Romantic and eclectic British wedding: Holly + Gareth

Happy Monday friends! When we chatted with Holly about her + Gareth’s day, she described it in two words first: fancy, but genuine. Fancy because hello, it’s a wedding! Kinda a big deal, right? But genuine, because of course it had to rep the two of them to a T for their 80 guests. So even though you’ll totally be blown away by the grandeur of Aynhoe Park House or that amaze cake above, what’s even more impressive is how much thought they put into the day, DIYs ‘n all. Don’t miss all of Holly’s...
