Milpitas' new finance director called a 'breath of fresh air' by city manager

Morreale, a certified public accountant and longtime finance director, last week became Milpitas' new director of financial services. Morreale succeeds Emma Karlen, who was promoted to assistant city manager last year. In his spare time Morreale said he likes hiking trails, jogging, biking and getting together with his family. He also enjoys music, reading books, supporting the Stanford football team and theater. Morreale's annual salary and benefits total around $170,000.
