Giuliani changes his story on Trump campaign collusion with Russia

By ERIC TUCKER WASHINGTON  — President Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani now says he “never said there was no collusion” between Russia and members of Trump’s 2016 White House campaign, contradicting public positions that he and his client have taken. Giuliani, who previously called the idea of Russian collusion “total fake news,” appears to have left open the possibility of improper contacts, in light of court filings in the past year that have detailed ties between Trump aides and Russia. Af...

What This Weekend's Super Blood Wolf Moon Means For You

On Sunday night, there's set to be a rare "super blood wolf moon " from 9:36 p.m. EST to 12:31 a.m. EST. Despite the werewolf undertones of its name, a "super blood wolf moon" is not as spooky as it sounds. Really, a "super blood wolf moon" is just a lunar eclipse that occurs on the first full moon of the year — but it's still a powerful, transformative time.Whenever a full moon is described as "super," it's referring to its relative proximity to earth in its orbit, explains Laura Tempest Zakro...

Opinion: Putin must be smiling as he watches Trump carry out his agenda

Every day, it seems, brings another load of disturbing information about President Donald Trump's interactions with Russian President Vladimir Putin. A few days ago, we learned that Trump's behavior was so troubling that the FBI opened a counter-intelligence investigation to find out if Trump was working, "on behalf of Russia against American interests." The probe merged with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, so we don't know what Mueller may have concluded.

Rudy: I Never Said There Was No Collusion with Russia

President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani has repeatedly moved the goalposts in his defense of his client in recent months. But he took a dramatic step forward Wednesday night when he claimed – falsely – that he’d never said there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. He now insists only that President Trump personally did not collude with Russia. Other members of the campaigns like Paul Manafort may have. Barr Could Block Mueller Report Release But Would Risk Backlash

“Under the current regulations, the special counsel report is confidential,” Barr, President Donald Trump’s nominee, told the Senate Judiciary Committee during his confirmation hearing Tuesday. Barr’s justification for keeping Mueller’s findings from the public appears to rest on a technical reading of federal regulations governing special counsels, as well as Justice Department policy for handling criminal and counterintelligence investigations, the officials said.
