Coyotes Weekly: Still in the Playoff Hunt

With less than three weeks to go, and with the Arizona Coyotes still firmly entrenched in a tight race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, there’s no doubt that, over the next few weeks, every game (and point) matters. There are only nine games remaining, and only 18 more points can be gathered, giving the Coyotes a 96-point maximum for this season. Six wins in those nine games will give Arizona 90 points – would that be enough to qualify for the Stanley Cup playoffs? Can they ...

Clubs & Parties Update

This past year we've been going to lifestyle parties on an almost weekly basis.  The lack of posts have merely been because I did not see the benefit of reviewing the same venues over and over again. I also didn't see the point in reviewing one off or private house or hotel parties.  We did head to Philly Friction for the first time in October 2018 and were signed up to go again this past weekend.  Unfortunately they had an issue with the hotel and had to cancel the party so we went to Share Nat...

Dodgers’ Walker Buehler looks strong in late spring debut

GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Dodgers ace-in-waiting has done more waiting than pitching this spring. But right-hander Walker Buehler finally got in a game Tuesday night, throwing 46 pitches over 2-2/3 innings (many traveling a healthy 98 mph). He gave up three singles, struck out two and was charged with a run when his last baserunner eventually scored. “It was good – a little erratic, a little all over the place,” Buehler said. “But that’s what these games are for.” It might have been Buehler’s first ...

Here's what you should do if you feel drowsy while driving, according to a Chevy safety engineer who saw the danger of tired driving firsthand when serving in Iraq (GM)

Maureen Short is a West Pointer and former US Army Captain who learned about drowsy driving firsthand when she was a company commander in Iraq. She now studies drowsy driving as a safety engineer at GM's Chevrolet brand. Her advice is to get adequate rest or pull over when sleepy — don't try to push through with coffee. Safety Jabrill Peppers is excited about last week's trade that sent him to the Giants because it allows him to return to his home state of New Jersey for the next phase of his career. Peppers will be asked to do more than trade on his status as a local boy made good, of course. Giants General Manager Dave Gettleman called him a key piece to making the Odell Beckham trade happen and he's part of the plan to replace safety Landon Collins on the Giants defense.
