Chargers’ rookies producing during playoff run

It was fitting that Uchenna Nwosu’s right hand sealed the Chargers’ 23-17 victory against the Baltimore Ravens because the rookies had their fingerprints on the wild-card win. A handful of Chargers rookies impacted the game that sent the franchise to the divisional round for a date with the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Derwin James has gotten most of the attention, and deserving, but Nwosu’s game-clinching strip sack and Michael Badgley’s five field goals defined why the Chargers ar...

Relocations to other states creates new business for some California real estate agents

Real estate agent Myron Von Raesfeld sold 30 homes in North Carolina in the last six months, making him one of the top agents in the Raleigh-Durham market — from his desk 2,778 miles away in Santa Clara. Von Raesfeld, CEO of Windermere Silicon Valley, is advising homeowners and investors to sell high in California and move their assets outside the state.
