How the Queen Mary’s haunted past may be conjured in new séance show

Cathy Markus heard clear voices between the radio static. First it was the voices of men, then women, and that was followed by the voices of children as well as some music coming from piano notes and violin chords while she sat in the Revenant Room Theatre, a space inside the Queen Mary’s B Deck Forward, which is said to be one of the most haunted areas of the famously haunted Long Beach vessel. Markus, a West Hollywood resident, had just taken part in a séance aboard the ship and she had no ide...

The Trailer for the Downton Abbey Movie

The Downton Abbey movie is nearly upon us (it’s out in Sept) and the first full-length trailer is here. The action picks up a couple of years after the TV show ended and concerns the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to the estate. I’ve embedded the UK trailer above — it’s better than the American trailer even though it gives away a bit more of the plot. Plus, in the UK version you get to see the deployment of Carson in the Battle of the Head Butlers. Carson’s glance of disdained indiffe...
