Audio & Radio Emergency Fund gives out over £77,000

Organisers of the Audio & Radio Emergency Fund (AREF) are closing the initiative at the end of its current funding round after giving out over £77,000. The Radio Academy created the fund in April 2020, to help those in the radio and audio sectors who were facing hardship because of the coronavirus crisis.
