What a difference a year makes. At the movies, anyway. Theatrical grosses came off a down 2017 to set both domestic and international box-office records in 2018. According to comScore, the Sherman Oaks-based media audience measurement company, North American ticket sales for 2018 should reach $11.9 billion by year’s end. Supreme Court liberal Ginsburg out of hospital

Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the eldest justice of the minority liberal faction on the US Supreme Court, left the hospital after an operation to remove cancerous nodules on her left lung, Court officials said Wednesday. "Justice Ginsburg was discharged from the hospital yesterday and is recuperating at home," a court statement said. The 85-year-old judge, popularly known by her initials RBG, underwent a pulmonary lobectomy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
