The annual Andre 3000 verse is an awesome one

The new James Blake album dropped but I, like many hip hop heads, gravitated to a track featuring… oh, you know, the annual new feature from Andre 3000. In fact, it was @hetalbot (my co-content creator from the Yasiin Bey show the other day) who put me onto this almost instantly after Assume Form dropped in…Continue reading ➞ The annual Andre 3000 verse is an awesome one

Eddie Supa is “savage like Randy the wrest-e-ler”

You got two minutes, don’t you? Eddie Supa’s easily in my top level of upcoming artists, whether from Chicago or anywhere. Here’s his quick set of new raps to match the thumpin’ beat he’s always cookin’ too. I’m a 90s wrestling fan, hence the line I highlighted in the title. More good ones above (and…Continue reading ➞ Eddie Supa is “savage like Randy the wrest-e-ler”

The smoothest R&B singer that you shouldn’t sleep on this year is Stan Sono. In fact, you should sleep to this one with your loved one as Sono slows it down and breaks it down with some creative lyricism both on the verses and the catchy hook. Worzel Gummidge

As many of you know, one of my musical outlets is playing with the Cottenham Theatre Workshop pit band led by Aunty Babs. This was a finale jam we did on last night of our Worzel Gummidge performance back in December 2018 with Babs on piano, Rob on clarinet, Adam on drums and Darren on bass, me on electric guitar and camera. For CTW updates check out their website or follow them on Facebook. They’re rehearsing hard for their spring 2019 show right now! The post Worzel Gummidge appeared first...

Mike Posner’s album pre-release drop (that’s not on the album, but is also very good)

To the longtime GWHH followers: you already know we’ve been supportive of Mike’s career since the jump, and this week, he’s hitting another milestone. Posner’s new album, A Real Good Kid, drops later this week. While many have noted his stark physical appearance changes throughout his career, in the wake of the #10yearchallenge no less, Mike’s also had…Continue reading ➞ Mike Posner’s album pre-release drop (that’s not on the album, but is also very good)
