Jason Blum Is As Upset As You No One Saw Upgrade, Offers Update On TV Adaptation

"Upgrade" is getting an upgrade. When the bonkers-in-Yonkers sci-fi action film, written and directed by Leigh Whannell, released in 2018, it received a pithy welcome at the box office, though critics like /Film's Matt Donato had a good time with it. ‘Upgrade’ TV Series Coming From Blumhouse and Director Leigh Whannell

Leigh Whannell‘s fantastic sci-fi-action-horror pic Upgrade is headed to the small screen. It takes what could’ve b...

The tale begins in Gjøl, Denmark, home to baker Thomas Dam (1915-1989) who could no longer work when the local flour factory went out of business. From Smithsonian: Dam would sit near the fireplace, carving bits of wood while he thought. He often carved funny creatures to enterta...

Infections in intensive care units (ICU) tend to be caused by organisms, such as multi-resistant gram-negative bacteria found in the gut, that are resistant to frontline antibiotics. Treating such infections means relying on broad spectrum antibiotics, which run the risk of breeding further drug-resistance, or antibiotics that have toxic side-effects. Estimates of the proportion of patients in ICU who will develop a secondary infection range from one in three to one in two; around a half ...
