Raptors superfan has an incredible response to Bucks fan's racist tweet

It's been a heated Eastern Conference Finals between the Raptors and the Bucks, but one Milwaukee fan took things too far with a racist tweet aimed towards Raptors superfan Nav Bhatia. Diehard Raptors know him well, and even casual fans who tune in from time to time can recognize Bhatia seated on the baseline. He's never missed a single home game in franchise history and often travels to away games, including Milwaukee for the Eastern Conference Finals.

Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors — who already swept the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals — however, don't seem to care about the Toronto-based rapper's sideline antics. “Drake can't shoot,” Gr...

Kawhi Leonard shows off his Mandarin in postgame interview

It's no secret that Toronto Raptors superstar Kawhi Leonard is a man of few words. Based on his chat with an ESPN China reporter following Toronto's 120-102 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, that holds true in both English and Mandarin. Following three straight games of at least 31 points to begin the series, Leonard only had to put up 19 in 34 minutes of action as Toronto, with the help of their bench finally showing some life, evened up their best of-seven series 2-2.

Raptors roll as Kawhi Leonard limps through Game 4 win over Bucks

Kawhi Leonard is clearly not right. The Toronto Raptors posted their most impressive performance of the Eastern Conference finals to secure a critical 120-102 win over the Milwaukee Bucks to tie the series at 2-2 and avoid a trip to Milwaukee facing elimination. Leonard was visibly hobbled multiple times throughout the game with the undisclosed injury he suffered in Game 3, most notably after dunking on Giannis Antetokounmpo in the third quarter.

Manitobans in hunt as badminton nationals come to city

Kiren Milan DeRaj isn't glued to the TV watching the NHL playoffs or following the fortunes of the Toronto Raptors as they contend for an NBA title — he's on his computer watching the birds fly. The Winnipegger is a badminton junkie, and he regularly tunes in to live streams of international matches on Youtube as the stars of the sport strut their stuff. But he isn't scoring at home. He's not keeping track of who's beating who or who's winning what or who's ran...

Raptors-Bucks series leads to massive dip in TV ratings

The Eastern Conference Finals features two players who could be considered the NBA's best in Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kawhi Leonard, a team that posted the league's best record and point differential (Milwaukee Bucks) and a grizzled opponent looking to make their first NBA Finals (Toronto Raptors). None of that seems to be a compelling draw for the average viewer in the United States, however. The Athletic's Richard Deitsch detailed that Game 2 between the Bucks and Raptors avera...

Kawhi Leonard shows his character in grueling Game 3 win

And after coughing up a turnover that led to a layup for the Bucks, Leonard instantly redeemed himself by picking off a pass from Khris Middleton, beating Malcolm Brogdon to the loose ball and taking it the other way for a dunk to keep the Raptors on top. Then came the play that clinched the game. Leonard pushed the pace after Pascal Siakam skied for an incredible block at the rim against Brook Lopez, evaded a double team, turned the corner against Brogdon, neutralized the shot contest by drivin...

The Change That Could Make the NBA Playoffs Watchable

The NBA postseason needs to be shorter. Historically, the NBA playoffs have been one of the most entertaining postseasons in all of sports, where rivalries are born and great players become legends. This year’s games, for instance, have given fans series-ending buzzer beaters, like the one from the Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard in the first round against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and another from the Toronto Raptors’ Kawhi Leonard, who hit an improbable shot in Game 7 against the Phila...
