The first time I saw myself represented on TV was in 2012. I was a junior in college, and having just discovered Breaking Bad on Netflix (back before Orange is the New Black was even a thing, good god I’m old!), I was amazed to see someone with Cerebral Palsy on my screen. Of course at the time, I don’t think I understood the sheer magnitude of what this meant.
