Also, once the marker of retail luxury, the Champs Elysees in the past few years has given way to cheap food and retail chains such as Five Guys and H & M.

April 9, 2019 at 4:52 AM I was in the city of Bordeaux in March to do some research for an article for a publication I write for.
I visited Bordeaux in 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed spending two days exploring the magnificent architecture of early 19th century limestone edifices, (Baron Haussmann used Bordeaux as a model to rebuild Paris), great food, charming people, and of course, wine.
