Poland calls Lukashenko's words unacceptable as relations become tense

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko's comments that Warsaw may be plotting to seize part of the country if its political crisis worsened are unacceptable, Krzysztof Szczerski, an aide to Poland's president, said on Friday. U.S. discussing Belarus with EU, says Pompeo

The United States is discussing the situation in Belarus with the European Union after last weekend's disputed election and subsequent crackdown on protesters, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Saturday.
