Warner Bros. Pictures has released a brand new Judas and the Black Messiah trailer for director Shaka King’s forthcoming biographical drama film, starring Oscar nominee Daniel Kaluuya as Fred Hampton. The film is scheduled to make its debut on Friday, February 12, 2021 with a simultaneous premiere in theaters and on HBO Max. Check out the video in the player below!

Pictures has finally set the release date for director Shaka King’s forthcoming biopic drama Judas and the Black Messiah after more than eight months since it was temporarily pulled from the studio’s release schedule. August 7, 2020 at 10:31 AM Judas and the Black Messiah tells the story of Fred Hampton, chairman of the Black Panther Party, and how he was betrayed by William O’Neal, a petty criminal forced by the FBI to infiltrate the Panthers and sow discord within Hampton’s movement. Daniel Kaluuya plays Hampton and LaKeith Stanfield is O’Neal, with Shaka King directing in his feature directorial debut and Ryan Coogler producing. And man oh man, is this one of the best trailers you’re going to watch this year.
