Wu-Tang Clan – With Mary J. Blige – Xzibit, Fat Joe Rock Loud Records 25th Anniversary Concert

The early-to-mid-1990s saw the rise of a number of hip-hop labels jockeying to succeed Def Jam as the preeminent rap shop of the day. While Bad Boy, Death Row, No Limit, So So Def and the like were iconic in their own ways, no outfit came as close to Def Jam’s level as Steve Rifkind’s […]

It's Content and It's Links – Are We Making SEO Too Complicated?

Posted by AndrewDennis33Content and links — to successfully leverage search as a marketing channel you need useful content and relevant links. Many experienced SEOs have run numerous tests and experiments to correlate backlinks with higher rankings, and Google has espoused the importance of “great content” for as long as I can remember. In fact, a Google employee straight up told us that content and links are two of the three (the other being RankBrain) most important ranking factors in its s...

Tical from Method Man Released 25 Years Ago Today

When the Wu-Tang Clan dropped their first album, a lot of people gravitated to Method Man. Method Man was my favorite from the Wu-Tang Clan and I couldn’t wait for some solo material. 25 years ago today, Method Man dropped his solo debut, Tical. Before the album was released, Method dropped his first single Bring the Pain. Bring the Pain was a straight classic and that Wu Tang music we all loved. How to get in and around Desert Daze festival at Lake Perris

A year ago, Desert Daze moved westward for its seventh edition to put on its biggest production yet, taking over the Lake Perris State Recreation Area. But with expansion comes growing pains and the festival battled some headaches early on in the new venue, including fans sitting in hours of traffic to get in, parking problems and weak Wi-Fi and cell phone service. And then a freak thunderstorm cut off Tame Impala early in the band’s set — all on opening day. While Desert Daze rebounded over the...

9 acts you must see at Desert Daze at Lake Perris this weekend

Desert Daze has always brought together some of the most eclectic lineups over its eight years, but the top of this year’s festival bill reads like a “Most influential albums of the ’90s” list from an indie music blog. Moreno Beach at the Lake Perris State Recreation Area will be the home of this cool kids lineup, with the The Flaming Lips doing “The Soft Bulletin” on Friday; Ween bringing out the classic “Chocolate and Cheese” on Saturday; and the Wu-Tang Clan bringing da ruckus with “Enter the...
